No subtitles appear
Open the subtitle menu in the player that is showing the video. Select the intended track again, then test a scene with speech. If another offered language appears correctly, the problem may be limited to one track. If no tracks are listed, the edition may not include the language you need.
The text is late or early
A constant delay may be adjustable where the player offers a subtitle offset. Make a small change and compare another exchange. If the delay varies as the film continues, a simple offset may not match the edition. Try another supplied track or edition instead of continuing to add delay.
The captions are hard to read
Look for text size, background and contrast controls in the service or device settings. Captions should remain readable against both bright and dark scenes. Test from your normal viewing distance on a television. A style designed for a phone can be too small across the room.
Original language is not a subtitle menu
FlixHD’s language filter describes the production. It does not promise English subtitles, a Hindi dub or any other track on every viewing service. For an example of edition-specific controls, see Netflix’s audio and subtitle instructions. Use the corresponding help for whichever service you actually chose.
